Shadow to shadow
I don’t have a home
My heart has been stolen
And so is my soul

Fire to fire
I burn slowly in pain
My body turns into ash
And gets washed with the rain

I cut myself willingly
I give myself easily
I tear myself silently
I'll end myself finally
cutting...hurting...feeling...alive.

The substance makes me feel a deep sense of forced affection given over to someone who never deserved it, or maybe a betrayal of ones own flesh, casting virtue aside lightly in endeavor to win the love so needed in life.

Either way, the end seems to bear out a conclusive failure in the aims, and the overall impact of the lines is superb. The mind it takes to generate such complexity and make it entertaining is remarkably consistent in this piece.

I mark it high in vision, because many will relate.

Original is a given, that this would be derived from personal experiences, I see as a boon in all your works.

Technique, is so simple that even children will be taken by this poem. But for a true poet its a lackluster format.

Impact, is as mentioned beforehand. The feelings I get from it are inspiring and surreal. An almost "vamperic" quality lending a Gothic connotation to the vision. Flesh to ash, home behind us, the willing destruction a prelude to the next feeding, perhaps?

This is exquisitely short and well spoken in one artistic hopping-hip-kick!

Way to go!

Another beautiful poem.
But, remember, even when your heart is broken and your soul is gone, you can't give up. Take my advice: keep fighting back. The best of the human nature is to never let it go. Even when the fight is already lost...

yeah I know.. this just should be written out of me... if you know what mean. Keeping things inside doesn't really help.
Thank you

I know that feel. That's exactly why I write poetry. It's the only way I can express myself and open my heart without fearing that someone punches it right away. If we kept all this inside, soon our mids would explode.

truth... though I have other way.... go riding on bike on full speed till you can no more... go to the empty fields and scream till you lose your voice.. always works for me

Sounds like a good way to let out our feelings.

However, my way is to punch and kick the air until I get tired. The body gets tired and the mind gets clear.

As all your poems, this is beautiful. But I pray that you keep trying. Don't let something tear you down. There is always light, even in the deepest darkness. :iconsadhugplz: Don't give up.

You're very welcome. :huggle: Don't give up, alrighty? Things always, always get better, even when you truly believe that they won't. And they might not at first, but you'll pull through.
